Events

We host educational events of interest to our members and the general public. Workshops are usually in the Spring and Fall. Informative speakers at our workshops have become more and more popular each year.

The money raised from the events is used for our charitable purposes, and scholarship awards in the spring of each year to students pursuing a horticultural degree.

The Spring Workshop is a very popular event that kicks off the garden season. Topics of interest in the spring pertain to spring and summer planting. The workshop usually includes a plant sale and raffle.

The Spring Gardening Workshop is usually held in March each year.

The Master Gardeners hold plant sales at the annual Spring and Fall workshops. There are always a wide variety of plants grown by the Master Gardeners and at reasonable prices. Proceeds help fund the garden projects and the scholarships.

The Fall Workshop is hosted every year by the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks. Our aim is to provide an informative session devoted to gardening topics pertaining to the fall and winter seasons and topics to get the gardener ready for spring planting.

The Fall Workshop is usually held in late September or early October.
